Facebook engineer Blake Ros recently tweeted a "test" message that appeared to come from a previously un-heard of Twitter app named "Penguin FB", currently residing on Facebook's development servers. This recent activity begs the question, just what is Penguin FB?
Various bloggers seem to agree that Facebook is working towards app that would allow it's users to push updates to their Twitter accounts from Facebook. Given the fact that there are already apps that do this, Facebook may be a bit late to the game, however it would seem that they want their own.
InsideFacebook is reporting that they contacted Facebook, and inquired about the Penguin FB app only to get a reply of "No comment". Some time shorty afterward, Blake removed his test tweet. (Although it can still be viewed via search.twitter).
